David A. Forkner focuses his practice on complex litigation. He has defended commercial, class action, and criminal cases for a wide array of corporate clients before federal and state courts, and arbitrators throughout the country. These cases have involved a variety of substantive claims, including products liability, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Act, antitrust, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, trade secrets, health care, gaming, and corporate espionage. David Forkner has appeared in Colorado, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Ohio, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming, Alabama, and New York.

Before joining Williams & Connolly LLP, Mr. Forkner served as a law clerk for The Honorable Jesse E. Eschbach of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and The Honorable Thomas M. Shanahan of the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska.
