Paul Dueffert concentrates his trial practice on complex financial and products liability cases and actions involving the FDA and other agencies. Mr. Dueffert currently serves as national counsel in several mass tort litigations and in the AWP pharmaceutical pricing litigation. His other recent work includes internal investigations, favorable verdicts in three Baycol trials in Mississippi, the trial in the Court of Federal Claims of a Winstar case against the federal government, and the successful defense of claims exceeding $800 million against the officers of a Texas savings and loan association.

Mr. Dueffert also has extensive experience in media law, representing members of the press and other clients in libel cases and disputes involving privacy, copyright, trademark, and commercial appropriation.

Mr. Dueffert joined Williams & Connolly in 1990.
