Carolyn Williams is Appointed to American Bar Association Standing Committee on Federal Judiciary

Williams & Connolly LLP partner, Carolyn H. Williams, has been appointed as a member of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Federal Judiciary, a prestigious 15-member panel that evaluates and rates judicial nominees for federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Williams,  who specializes in complex civil litigation, products liability, defense of mass tort actions, environmental law, and professional malpractice, was appointed to a three-year term by recently elected ABA President H. Thomas Wells Jr. The members are appointed for staggered three-year terms by the President of the ABA based on their reputations for professional competence, integrity and devotion to public service. Each member contributes several hundred pro bono hours per year to this public service.
