Bread for the City Honors Williams & Connolly LLP as Pro Bono Legal Partner of the Year

Williams & Connolly LLP was recently honored with the 2008 Pro Bono Legal Partner of the Year Award in recognition of the work it does on behalf of some of Bread for the City's tenant clients.

Bread for the City is a volunteer-run agency that has provided free comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, legal and social services to low-income residents of Washington, D.C. for nearly 25 years. They promote the mutual collaboration of clients, volunteers, donors, staff, and other community partners to alleviate the suffering caused by poverty and to rectify the conditions that perpetuate it.
